H5P for new users: Timeline questions

Hi,

I have been playing around with the timeline function and I have a couple of questions.

1. When you add images is there a way to add the file rather than the link?

2. What's the difference between the dates and eras?

3. Is there some way to export the timeline to a calendar? e.g. for outlining an essay plan.

1. I think so ?
2. I think Era is just used as a container (that isn't absolute date specific) ... e.g. the modern era, the post-war era, the medieval era.
3. No, not in the way I think you would like to do that.
But H5P has a 'Documentation Tool' activity type, and that might do what you need?
